Benefits of BridgeX’s Extensive Plug-and-Play LoRaWAN® Device Decoder Repository

BridgeX is a versatile converter device that supports a wide range of LoRaWAN sensors and IO hardware from world-leading manufacturers. It features an extensive library of ready-made decoders that instantly transform raw sensor data into valuable business insights. This library includes many standard IoT devices, allowing you to start your IoT project in minutes. Easily connect any sensor device from our extensive list to your PLC or SCADA system—no coding required!

The platform already integrates the most popular off-the-shelf IoT devices, and new IoT devices and sensors are continuously added to our decoder library. You can also create your own JS payload decoder using our web-based application server interface.

Our sensor decoder presentation can be found here. New decoders are added regularly, and you can easily upgrade your BridgeX device using the “SEED” button if the device is connected to the internet and our GitHub account.

Features:

  • Payload Encryption/Decryption: BridgeX™ Application Server handles the encryption and decryption of application payloads.
  • Web Interface: The server offers a web interface built on top of a RESTful API, allowing you to manage gateways, LoRaWAN devices, Modbus registers, and more.
  • Payloads and Device Events: The server provides various ways to send and receive device payloads (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, InfluxDB). Downlink payloads can also be scheduled through the API.
  • Live Frame Logging: Inspect all raw and encrypted LoRaWAN frames per gateway or device in real-time by opening the LoRaWAN frames tab on the gateway or device detail page. This feature allows you to inspect the encrypted content of each LoRaWAN frame.
  • Live Event Logging: Inspect all events from the web interface without using an MQTT client or building an integration. The Live Event Logs tab on the device detail page shows all uplinks, acknowledgments, join requests, and error events in real-time.
  • Modbus TCP Slave Setup and Monitoring: Search for the device and sensor, then set the appropriate Modbus TCP slaveholding register so that the SCADA system and PLC can connect and fetch decoded sensor data.

Connectors:

  • BactNet: Description to be done.
  • KNX: Description to be done.
  • OPC UA: Description to be done.
  • MQTT: Description to be done.
  • Node-RED: Run Node-RED inside your BridgeX. Node-RED is a programming tool for wiring together hardware devices, APIs, and online services in new and exciting ways. It provides a browser-based editor for wiring together flows using a wide range of nodes that can be deployed to its runtime in a single click. Learn more about Node-RED.

Create/Add your own decoders using the built-in web GUI

BridgeX allows you to add and create your own decoders if you want to. You can also test a payload and decoder, choose the appropriate decoder, and then paste a payload and see what values are decoded.
