Applications

Where the ND-TP is used

Glacier & permafrost

Long cable strings down boreholes for cryosphere and permafrost research.

Lake & ocean profiles

Vertical temperature profiles for limnology and oceanography studies.

Dike & dam monitoring

Temperature profiles for seepage detection and structural health monitoring of earthworks.

Soil temperature studies

Multi-depth soil temperature for agronomy, climate research and frost forecasting.

Integration

Powered by the yDoc ML-525 datalogger

The ND-TP connects directly to the yDoc ML-525 datalogger. The yDoc powers the sensor, schedules measurements, stores readings locally and transmits them to the Sensor-Online platform via 4G/LTE-M, NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, satellite or Ethernet — with up to 10 years of battery life.
