ND-SMTP Soil Moisture & Temperature Profile Sensor
What is the ND-SMTP? The ND-SMTP is a sub-surface 600 mm soil moisture and temperature profile probe with six capacitance-based sensors at fixed depths. A single borehole installation captures the full root-zone water and temperature profile — ideal for irrigation control, smart agriculture, greenhouses and soilless plantations, parks and golf courses connected to the yDoc ML-525 datalogger.

The ND-SMTP connects directly to the yDoc ML-525 datalogger. The yDoc powers the sensor, schedules measurements, stores readings locally and transmits them to the Sensor-Online platform via 4G/LTE-M, NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, satellite or Ethernet — with up to 10 years of battery life.
